What is Budquo and what is it for?
Budquo is an AI estimating platform for contractors, developers and architecture firms. It helps you price and edit estimates, generate prices and cost breakdowns automatically, reuse your historical data and compare versions.
What modules does Budquo include?
Three modules you can use together or on their own: Requests for quotes, Estimate analysis and Version comparison.
How do I create my first database?
From the sidebar, go to Databases. Choose whether to upload a structured database (Excel or CSV) or build one from estimates in Excel or BC3. The more items your database has, and the more varied they are, the more accurate your prices will be.
Which formats does Budquo support?
Excel, PDF, CSV and BC3. We recommend BC3 or Excel (exported from Presto) to keep the estimate's hierarchical structure.
How do I generate prices automatically?
Right-click an item without a cost price and select “Generate price”. Budquo shows the confidence level depending on whether the price comes from your database or the default database.
Are my databases private?
Yes. They are private to your organization and cannot be downloaded. They are used within Budquo to price, search and break down items.
